Denia is the capital city of the Marina Alta region of the Costa Blanca. To the north of the town you have the famous white sandy beaches of the las marinas area, which is lined with a bend of traditional beachfront properties and larger apartment complexes.

In the south of the town you have Las Rotas, an area popular for those seeking luxury beach front villas. The town has two beautiful ports, and from here you can take the ferry to the Balearic islands including Ibiza and Majorca.

The town’s picturesque backdrop is the Montgo mountain and of course Denia Castle which was built in the eleventh and twelfth centuries on a sixty metre high mound. The entrance fees are minimal and the views from the top are simply incredible! Just below the castle is the Marina, home to pleasure boats & yachts, plus with the beach nearby, it’s the place to find the Watersports centre & seafood restaurants.

Denia is also considered the culinary centre for the area and has a host of top quality places to eat (some of which have Michelin Stars & are listed in the Michelin Guide) as well as cool bars and a vibrant nightlife.
